Focusing on functional mods, both inventing and applying, I've been working professionally as a controller modder since 2015. Original creator of the snapback mod, snapback modules and hybrid gate notches.
I mainly work with customers who have very specific expectations for the feeling and performance of their controller, for example by measuring and recording the individual ABXYZLR button click resistances so that there's a reference for the future, and offering reducing the default resistance to specific amounts (always measured and recorded with a tension gauge).
Controllers that I work on, particularly Phobs, are always cleaned very thoroughly, including flux residue from soldering, so that the potential for electrical issues is minimized.
Some of the more intricate mods I offer are mouse click triggers, mouse click Z (different advanced types available) as well as ABXY, frictionless PhobVision, C-Pad, keyboard switch triggers, all sorts of stick gate notches, remapping.
